In the course of February-April 2022, led the actions of subordinate units to bombard civilian targets in Kyiv and Chernihiv oblasts using indiscriminate aviation weapons (OFAB-250-270, FAB-500, OFZAB-500 air bombs) that led to significant casualties among the civilians.

This caused to significant destruction of civilian infrastructure and casualties among civilians. For the first time since the end of World War II, under the command of S. Kobylash, heavy bombers resorted to carpet bombing of densely populated areas, in particular in Mariupol.

About the project

Russia's war crimes against Ukraine began on February 24, 2022. According to the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, more than 1,700 Russian war crimes cases are currently being investigated in Ukraine. Numerous cases of destruction of housing infrastructure, killings of civilians and looting by the Russian military in the occupied Ukrainian territory have been reported. 

This project collects evidence of war crimes in Ukraine, and those who committed them. The investigation has just begun and will continue until the last executioner is found. Everyone involved in crimes against the Ukrainian people will be here.
